To deal with public asset protection, encroachment within ORR limits
CHIEF Minister A Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the first dedicated police station for the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) at 11 am on Thursday, May 8.
The police station at Buddha Bhavan in Secunderabad will deal exclusively with public asset protection, focusing on cases involving land encroachments, obstruction of roads and unauthorised activities affecting water bodies, parks, nalas and government lands within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits.
An officer of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) rank will serve as the Station House Officer. Case registration will follow directions from the HYDRAA commissioner. The police station will function under the existing Commissionerate's territorial limits, with personnel posted on deputation.
