LPG hike by Centre 'minor' but state pursuing anti-people policies: BJP leader

BJP state general secretary P. Rajeev acknowledged that the recent hike in LPG prices would adversely affect the people of Karnataka, already burdened by the Congress-led State government's increase in the cost of essential commodities and services.
ON Thursday,
Addressing a press conference, Rajeev said the LPG price hike was "ill-timed," especially as the BJP is currently undertaking its 'Janakrosha Yatra' across the state to protest what it calls the Siddaramaiah government's anti-people policies.
However, he defended the Centre, stating that the inflationary impact of the LPG hike was minor compared to the steep increase in essential goods under the state administration.
