Highways dept commences Palakkad Road repair work

COLLECTOR Kranthi Kumar Pati said the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) and Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage (TWAD) Board have completed work on the Palakkad Main Road near Kuniyamuthur and the highways department will restore the road in the next 15 days.
The UGD project in Kurichi and Kuniyamuthur which was started several years ago are yet to be completed. Though the Palakkad main road, located near Kuniyamuthur, is a major highway it was in a dilapidated condition for several months due to the pipeline work. On Thursday
