After 7 yrs, 38 convicted in Bulandshahr violence case over cow slaughter

IN a major development in the 2018 Bulandshahr violence case, a local court has convicted 38 persons, including a BJP-backed district panchayat member, nearly seven years after the incident that witnessed the killing of a police officer and torching of a police outpost.
The quantum of punishment would be announced on August 1.
