Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has warned that China's mega dam project is a "ticking water bomb" and poses an existential threat to the people of the frontier state and their livelihoods.
Opening up about the issue in an interview, he said the world's largest dam project on the Yarlung Tsangpo river—the Tibetan name for Brahmaputra—is a matter of grave concern as Beijing is not a signatory to the international water treaty that could have force
