AS Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD), the most common cause of chronic liver disease globally, is emerging as a serious health concern in the country, doctors have come out with guidelines for its diagnosis and management. The guidelines, published in the journal Diabetes and Metabolic Syndrome: Clinical Research and Reviews by Elsevier, provide evidence-based research for managing MASLD in Asian Indians with coexisting Type 2 Diabetes.
