HC quashes land acquired for NICE

THE Karnataka High Court has set aside the acquisition of parcels of land acquired for the Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises Limited (NICE) due to delay in awarding compensation.
In another batch of petitions challenging land acquired for NICE, the HC told the state to pass awards based on market value prevailing in 2019.
