10 MP cops suspended over hawala money

TEN police personnel, including a woman sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), have been suspended for allegedly misappropriating ₹1.5 crore out of the ₹2.96 crore suspected hawala money in MP's Seoni district, officials said on Friday.
Nagpur resident Sohan Parmar said in his complaint that he was travelling from Katni to Jalna in a car with ₹2.96 crore cash that belonged to a bullion trader. The cash was suspected hawala money.
