RS Chairman accepts AAP MPs’ merger with BJP

RAJYA Sabha chairman C P Radhakrishnan on Monday approved the merger of seven Rajya Sabha MPs of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with the BJP.
All MPs—including Raghav Chadha, Harbhajan Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Vikram Sahney, Ashok Mittal, and Sandeep Pathak from Punjab and Swati Maliwal from Delhi—are now official BJP representatives in the Upper House. The BJP’s strength in the house has reached 113 now, which reflects on the Rajya Sabha portal now.
