ALL roads in Chennai will lead to Chepauk on Friday evening as cricket aficionados in the sports loving city are eagerly awaiting the clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL to be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Even in domestic cricket Karnataka have been arch rivals of Tamil Nadu, so it is no surprise that fans consider RCB to be arch rivals of CSK. The main attraction for the marque game is to watch a clash between MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, two of the finest players the game has seen. The five-time champions got off to a positive start in IPL 2025 as they defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) at home by six wickets. Meanwhile, RCB too are coming into this clash on the back of a creditable sevenwicket win over defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). CSK coach Stephen Fleming did not reveal the team combination for the RCB game.
