Ganjam BJP leader shot dead in broad daylight

A local BJP leader was reportedly shot dead by unidentified miscreants in broad daylight near Patharpalli village within Kabisuryanagar police limits in Ganjam district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as 53-year-old youth Laxminarayan Paikray of Athagarhpatana village. Police said Paikray was a history-sheeter and had multiple criminal cases pending against him.
