₹26K cr for better road connectivity

BIHAR will get four road projects for better connectivity; PatnaPurnea Expressway, Buxar3 Bhagalpur Expressway, Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Vaishali and Darbhanga spurs, and additional two-lane bridge over the Ganga at Buxar.

While making an announcement about the mega plan for the state, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed an outlay of ₹26,000 crore in the Union Budget.
"We will formulate a plan 'Purvodaya' for the all-round development of the eastern region of the country covering Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh," said the minister.
