2 Maoists dead in encounter in C'garh district

TWO cadres of the CPI (Maoist), carrying a combined bounty of ₹13 lakh, were killed in an encounter with security forces at the Kilam-Bargum forests in Chhattisgarh's Kondagaon district on Wednesday.
IN a major breakthrough, the security forces on Tuesday demolished 11 bunkers belonging to top Maoist leader Misir Besra, having a bounty of ₹1 crore on his head, and diffused seven powerful Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Saranda forests of Chaibasa. As per cops, the bunker sites, of dimensions varying between 25 x 35, 20 x 25 and 15 x 20 feet, were well-equipped to accommodate the Maoist leader Besra and his squad.
