DANIEL Moore hailed an outstanding performance from Hebburn Town as they racked up their biggest win as a Northern Premier League club with an 8-0 demolition of Warrington Town.

Substitute Olly Martin led the way with a well-taken hat-trick and there was a goal apiece from Matty Elsdon, Gary Martin, Campbell Darcy and Jack Foalle before an own goal only heightened the anguish for the Yellows.

Moore told The Journal: “We were coming off the pitch and one of the players said that had been brewing for a few weeks.

“I think we are in the top four scorers in the division but we have struggled to keep the ball out of the net for the last few weeks.

“Today it all came together and we have worked hard in training at being more relaxed on the ball. Some of the goals, if you saw them on TV, you'd be talking about them for weeks.”

Morpeth Town's struggles continued with a 2-0 defeat at Hyde United as a goal in each half from Nyal Bell and Max Harrop condemned Craig Lynch's men to a loss in the North West.
