POLDARK was filmed on location and the spectacular shots of Cornish coastlines led to a surge of tourism in the area.
It also featured a memorable theme tune by Kenyon Emrys Roberts, and the BBC romantic historical drama was soon attracting 15 million viewers every Sunday night.
