TOM Cleverley has declared he is 'really excited' by the players in his Plymouth Argyle squad and the form of the team going into the closing weeks of the League One campaign.

Argyle were within three points of the top six, going into their game against fifth-placed Stevenage at Home Park tomorrow night, after a dramatic turnaround in their fortunes since they were bottom of the table in late November.

It has been an eventful first season as Argyle head coach for Cleverley, to say the least, and both he and the Pilgrims have come a long way since the early months of pain and heartache.
