Loungers plan for Broadway

THE Loungers chain of cafe-bars has made an application for a licence for it's latest outlet in Plymouth - in a former Poundland store in Plymstock's main high street.
A planning application to Plymouth City Council has heralded the first stage in the company's programme to expand its chain of cafebars which has already proved popular in Plymouth.
Their first Lounge was created within an empty opticians in Bristol and after securing the site the trio opened it on August 29, 2002.
The company now operates more than 160 Lounge cafe-bars, including the Seco Lounge at the Royal William Yard and the Armado Lounge on the Barbican, and more than 30 Cosy Club restaurant-bars, including one at the Barcode leisure complex in the city centre.
