UPGRADE PROVIDES BETTER FACILITIES FOR PATIENTS
A MENTAL health unit for older people has reopened after a £3 million upgrade.
The Cotehele Unit at Glenbourne, a psychiatric inpatient facility in Plymouth managed by Livewell Southwest, has had a refurbishment thanks to funding from the Department of Health and Social Care delivered by NHS Property Services Ltd.
The unit is now equipped to provide specialist care for up to 10 older adults in two single-sex wards, with en suite rooms offering a dignified and welcoming environment for people recovering from a mental health crisis.
