Albion aiming to build on fine start on their return home
The Herald
|September 13, 2025
PLYMOUTH Albion run out at the Brickfields for the first time in National One this season, looking to build on their impressive start to the 2025-26 campaign.
Newly-promoted Clifton will be making the relatively short journey south to face Albion in their second game of the season, after a tough loss at the hands of Blackheath last week. Clifton boasted a top of the table finish last season in National Two West, losing only four games throughout and earning their spot in National One.
This season however has not started as they'd liked, and they'll be looking to turn their fortunes around against Albion.
Last week Albion dominated their opposition on the road, defeating another newly-promoted team Leeds Tykes 45-12. Coach Ryan Lamb will be hoping to improve on their impressive start to the season, by adding another five points to their current league tally.
