Chelsea flower show to feature refugees' crops and a Hindu gay wedding

Diversity at the Chelsea flower show is normally seen in the array of flowers and colours
But this year organisers have weaved inclusivity into its events like vines through a trellis.
The show is set to feature its first same-sex wedding, a picnic for disadvantaged schoolchildren and a display featuring celebrated female gardeners.
Chelsea flower show has long been a staple of the society calendar, with celebrities and royals appearing among the peonies and roses.
But this year, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is trying to make the show – and horticulture – more inclusive, by putting on special events for children and encouraging gardens with an accessibility theme.
Tieing the knot are garden designer Manoj Malde and his partner Clive. Their wedding is planned for Monday in the garden Malde designed which has a theme of unity and diversity.
Malde said: “It’s really important that people know the RHS isn’t just about their shows and gardens, it also does a lot in the community – then people will begin to understand that it’s not elitist.
