Staff wages stolen as CCTV of cafe burglary released

A MARSKE business has lost a week's worth of staff wages in a devastating break-in over the weekend.

CCTV footage of a burglary at KOKO Bubble Tea
KOKO Bubble Tea and neighbouring Smugglers Den, in Redcar Road, were both targeted in early-morning burglaries.
The windows of both businesses were smashed during the incident which happened at around 4am on Saturday morning, December 13. Sharing clips from the CCTV footage of the burglary on social media, the owner of the bubble tea snack bar confirmed that two cash machine tills were stolen.
