PEOPLE ON TOYS BLOWN TO SEA AMONG HEATWAVE CALLS

It was one of several incidents the Hartlepool RNLI attended during the heatwave at the weekend.

On Saturday, at around 3.27pm, a man on an inflatable toy dinghy was blown out to sea off Seaton Carew - with another man swimming out to his aid. This incident sparked a rescue mission with HM Coastguard calling on help from the Hartlepool RNLI.
