Private sector pledges 251,000 housing units under Pag-IBIG

Private developers have committed to deliver 251,000 socialized housing units under the expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program of Pag-IBIG Fund, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development said.

Just three months after launching its housing loan program, Pag-IBIG reported that more than 25,000 individuals have already signed up to express interest in purchasing housing units.
“The high number of registrants in such a short span of time clearly reflects the need of Filipino workers and their families for affordable homeownership,” Housing Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said.
