Over P13.2M illegal drugs seized, 353 nabbed in CV holiday drive

Over P13.2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized and at least 353 suspects were arrested during weeklong police operations conducted across Central Visayas amid the holiday season.

From December 21 to 27, the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) reported that 237 of those apprehended were drug personalities arrested in 216 anti-illegal drug operations across the region.
PRO-7 seized nearly two kilograms, or a total of 1,953 grams, of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P13,285,092.
One of the largest hauls was recorded in Barangay Lawaan 2, Talisay City, where about P2,142,000 worth of suspected shabu weighing approximately 315 grams was confiscated from a habal-habal (motorcycle-for-hire) driver on Christmas Day.
