Danao eyed to pilot Wagyu beef production

Danao City is set to become the pilot area for Cebu's Wagyu and other branded beef production program, promising a significant boost to Cebu's agricultural economy.

This came after Danao City Mayor Ramon "Nito" Durano III himself saw the potential of wagyu beef production here.
The ambitious Cebu Wagyu and Branded Beef Production Program, a key pillar of Governor Pamela Baricuatro's five-year food security plan, was discussed in length during a well-attended farmers' forum in Danao City the other day.
The forum highlighted the program's immense potential to transform the local agricultural landscape and generate substantial economic benefits for farmers and agribusinesses.
