Brothers Benedict Andre and Anton Bennett Chua etched their names in stone in the recently concluded Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 28.

- EMMANUEL B. VILLARUEL

Andre, playing for Xchange Forex Batch 2018, and his older brother Anton of Imperial House of Furniture Batch 2015 both made it to the Mythical Five, becoming the first siblings to join the elite group in the same season in the 30-year history of Cebu’s oldest alumni-based cage league.

"Personally, I feel super happy to share this achievement with my older brother. This achievement is even more meaningful because we made our parents, Benedict and Anna, super proud as it is rare to see brothers playing against each other and for both of us to achieve Mythical 5 honors,” said Andre.

“We also hope to make this an inspiration to our youngest brother, Benj. He is still in high school, so the sky is the limit for him.”
