The Freeman
|December 03, 2025
Despite pushing for a modest and simpler Christmas celebration at the Cebu City Hall, its employees will still receive their bonuses this year, as confirmed by Mayor Nestor Archival which includes those with Job Order (JO) status.
As announced, the executive department proposed that regular and casual employees will receive P15,000 each, while JO workers will get P5,000.
"Bonus naa ta. Regular and casual, P15,000; JO, P5,000. Sauna ang JO, wala na sila; karon, we'll make sure nga naa na sila," Archival said during his regular press conference at the City Hall, underscoring his administration’s commitment to inclusivity.
