Cebu nominated for 'Most Desirable Region'

Cebu clinches nomination anew as the “Most Desirable Region (Worldwide)” via the 24th Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards.

The prestigious recognition shines a spotlight on the island's magnetic appeal—from its exciting diving sites and cascading waterfalls to its trekking trails, vibrant wildlife, and irresistible cuisine.
Cebu is competing against over 40 other places worldwide.
Announced by the Department of Tourism (DOT), the Philippines is also a contender for “Most Desirable Country (Worldwide),” one of the highest honors in this year’s awards organized by Wanderlust, the United Kingdom’s oldest and largest travel magazine.
Palawan, another gem in the country, is also competing for “Most Desirable Island (Worldwide)” again after placing 10th in the same category last year.
