State begins drug testing of jailed prisoners to curb narcotics

The Karnataka Prison Department has rolled out a major initiative to eliminate the use of narcotic substances inside prisons across the state.
Following directions from Alok Kumar, Director General of Police (Prisons), inmates in all prisons are now being subjected to drug screening tests.
