MU’s Physics lab advances green hydrogen energy research drive

Mumbai University’s Department of Physics has emerged as a significant contributor to clean energy research, with its Advanced Materials and Energy Research Laboratory earning national and international recognition for advances in green hydrogen production, energy storage and high-performance materials.

According to the university, the laboratory published 25 research papers in 2025 and 20 more so far in 2026, taking its total publications in reputed international journals to 155.
