KIIFB challenges ED in High Court
The Free Press Journal - Mumbai
|December 12, 2025
KIIFB moved to halt an enforcement action by petitioning the Kerala High Court, arguing that a notice issued by the Directorate of Enforcement over the deployment of masala bond proceeds was unwarranted and timed to influence the political climate.
The financial institution submitted that its use of funds complied fully with regulatory standards and was directed transparently towards infrastructure development across the State.
The petition centres on a notice served by the Directorate of Enforcement questioning the application of funds raised through masala bonds issued in 2019.
