AI-powered waste management takes centre stage at IIIT Vadodara

India's push towards sustainable development received a significant boost as leading researchers and academicians concluded that Artificial Intelligence (AI) can transform waste into wealth, with a white paper on AI-driven circular economy solutions set to be prepared following a high-level workshop jointly organised by IIIT Vadodara's International Campus, Diu, and IIT Roorkee.

The workshop, titled "Impact of Artificial Intelligence for Circular Economy and Sustainable Waste Management," brought together scientists, academicians, researchers and students to explore how emerging AI technologies can address environmental challenges while promoting responsible resource utilisation.
