Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, addressing a press conference on the upcoming Panchayat elections on Monday, emphasized the BJP's commitment to ensuring the benefits of government schemes reach the most marginalized sections of society. He highlighted the Vishnudev Sai-led government's achievements and assured the public of continued efforts to improve living standards across rural and tribal areas.
Sharma pointed out that Chhattisgarh has made remarkable progress in housing initiatives. He noted that the state has successfully completed 1,80,000 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and initiated construction for many more. "If these houses had been built five years ago, we would have been even happier," he remarked.
