A 61-year-old Sagar man's liver gave a new lease of life to a 44-year-old man here. The liver transplant surgery was successfully performed at Choithram Hospital on Thursday afternoon.
The vital organs of Baliram Kushwaha, 61, who met with an accident and was shifted to the Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) in Jabalpur, were harvested after he was declared brain dead.
