Seven members of family found dead in car

Seven members of a family from Dehradun, including three children, were found dead inside a parked car in sector 27 of Haryana's Panchkula, the police said on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Praveen Mittal (41), his wife Reena, their son Hardik (14), twin daughters Dhruvika and Dalisha (11) and Mittal's parents Deshraj and Vimla.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Himadri Kaushik said preliminary evidence pointed to suicide, but all angles are being investigated.
The bodies were spotted inside a car early Tuesday morning. The police rushed all the seven members of the family to a private hospital in Panchkula. While six of them were declared dead on arrival, the family's head was found alive and was referred to another hospital. He told a local resident that he had consumed poison and was about to die. He succumbed later.
