REGIS Le Bris admitted Sunderland were surprised at how much time and space they were given on the ball by Liverpool as they claimed a 1-1 draw at Anfield - but says once they found their belief they could have won the game.

The Black Cats came within a whisker of a huge upset at Anfield, having led through Chemsdine Talbi's deflected opener on Wednesday night.
