WARRANT OUT FOR DAD-OF-SIX SO HE GAVE POLICE NAME OF HIS SIBLING

- By SARA NICHOL

A WANTED man gave his brother's name and date of birth when he was arrested for a separate matter while on a night out in Newcastle city centre.

Police in Scotland had been searching for dad-of-six Jack Collins when he travelled to the North East last month.

A court heard that the 24-year-old got drunk and ended up getting himself arrested for a suspected assault.

However, knowing he was wanted over the border, he gave his sibling’s details to officers, prosecutors told a court.
