NEWCASTLE Eagles finally return to WSLB Championship action tonight after a three-week wait since their win against Essex Rebels on the first day of November, writes JEFF KING.

This time it's the London Lions who provide the opposition - and they are vastly improved from the side that didn't win a game in the last campaign.

London have already registered a league win this season - 68-63 against Nottingham Wildcats - but lost last time out two weeks ago, 93-71 against Oakland Wolves.
