Survey helping to shape SEND services
The Chester Chronicle
|June 19, 2025
THE findings of a survey of families with children who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is helping to shape future services.
It is a year since Cheshire West and Chester parent carer forum (PCE) - an independent body of volunteers that represents families of children and young people with SEND - published a survey into the views, challenges and struggles faced by parents and carers across the borough.
It found that more SEND parents were reaching out for help, but that more people in positions of influence were also willing to listen.
