Seutloali's inspiring Two Oceans win, first South African Sikhakhane reflects
Sunday Tribune
|April 06, 2025
Khabo Sesuthoali credited his marathon in the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon to inspiration received from compatriot and former runner of The World's Most Beautiful Marathon.
The Hollywood Athletics Club runner recorded a decade-long drought for SA runners by winning yesterday's race in 3:10:47, just 20 seconds slower than Gerda Steyn's 2022 up-run record, and finishing 11th overall in the famous 56km Mother City ultra.
Not uncertain that it was Nkosinathi Ndawo who shared a death of Two Oceans wisdom with his mentor countryman prior to the race that spat out this main contender.
