Two-Blues look to bounce back as Redcar start historic season

BISHOP Auckland will travel to Thornaby on the opening day of the Division One season as the Two-Blues look to bounce back from relegation from the Northern Premier League at the first attempt.

Martin Gray's side were relegated on the final day of last season, but the former Darlington boss has wasted little time boosting his squad with a number of ambitious additions.
Gary Martin and Arron Thompson both helped Hebburn Town secure promotion into the National League North last season - and they will hope to achieve similar success with Bishops during the new campaign.
They have been joined by the likes of twin brothers Amar and Arjun Purewal, former Whitby Town stalwart Shane Bland and West Auckland Town, forward Craig Moody - and the new look Two-Blues will get the campaign underway at Teesdale Park on the final Saturday of next month.
