4 arrests as activists strike at Tower
FOUR protesters were arrested yesterday after custard and apple crumble was thrown at the Crown Jewels in the Tower of London.
Take Back Power, which describes itself as a new nonviolent civil resistance group, claimed it was behind the act as it called for a citizen-led assembly to tax the rich.
One activist slammed a foil tray of crumble against the glass protecting the Imperial State Crown.
