Toyota's sixth generation SUV will ensure it keeps its crown as best seller in the world
HE Toyota RAV4 is the bestselling SUV in the world. With such an accolade behind them the company are now launching an even better 2026 version of their star car.
This sixth generation RAV4 comes with new software, a new plugin hybrid system, faster charging and both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive options.
On top of that you can also get the rather lovely GR Sport model which arrives with unique design cues, toughed-up suspension and fantastic off-road ability.
However, it is most likely this car - the plugin Design trim with front-wheel drive that will appeal to most of us - unless you are one of the few who regularly sail down pitted gravel single track roads. The RAV4 has come a long way since it was first launched back in 1994.
