I was kept in dark about allegation that ruined my life

LABOUR is facing demands to review its complaints procedures by an outgoing MSP left in limbo for seven months over anonymous allegations.
Foysol Choudhury was suspended by the party in September amid an investigation into his conduct. He told how the probe has devastated his life and career, despite being given no information about the claims against him.
Choudhury was deselected as the candidate for Edinburgh North. He said: “It has now been almost seven months since I was administratively suspended by the Labour Party’s Governance and Legal Unit team following an anonymous complaint.
“I remain in exactly the same position today as I was at the end of September last year when this process began.
“In that time, I have not been given any meaningful opportunity to defend myself or clear my name.
