Weight-loss jabs leaving many 'sick and weak'

WEIGHT-LOSS jabs touted as the solution to Britain’s obesity problem are causing some users to become unwell or weak, as highlighted in a new poll.
Users have reported a raft of troubling side-effects, from hair loss to crippling nausea, and even dangerous muscle and bone loss.
A UK survey of 1,500 former users of GLP-1 weight-loss treatments reveals almost half now fear long-term side-effects.
However, two-thirds would still recommend them and three-fifths said they would use them again.
More than a quarter said they came off the drugs due to gut problems such as diarrhoea and vomiting, or because of mental health effects, including anxiety, disturbed sleep and mood swings.
More than a quarter also cited the drugs’ high cost, or quit after reaching their weight loss target.
