Lewis: Carr in driving seat for job

ALAN Carr could be just the Cha-cha-chatty Man for the job of hosting Strictly Come Dancing, according to series frontrunner Lewis Cope and his professional dance partner Katya Jones.
The Celebrity Traitors winner, 49, has been tipped to take on a coveted presenting role when Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly step down from the BBC One flagship show at the end of the current series.
Lewis, 30, said he would love to see Carr front the celebrity ballroom dancing contest, adding: "I think he would be great. I think he's funny, he's very current now."
Russian dancer Katya, 36, who has been on Strictly for the past decade and lifted the glitterball trophy with actor Joe McFadden in 2017, wants her former colleague Janette Manrara to be the co-presenter.
