'Ball of energy' Pollock scores first Twickenham try to help Borth's boys get the autumn party started
THE BLOND BOMBSHELL Pollock comes on to make a big impact ICE-COOL ALEX Mitchell gets in for a try and celebrates in style
HENRY POLLOCK proved that blonds have more fun as Steve Borthwick's England made it eight wins on the spin by downing the Australians.
Pollock was in Borthwick's own version of the Springboks’ Bomb Squad, as the boss chucked FIVE British & Irish Lions on from the bench with the score stuck at 10-7.
Cowan-Dickie, Ellis Genge, Tom Curry and Will Stuart pulverised the Aussies for the last half-hour, and England ran away with it.
Northampton’s Pollock, with his newly-bleached hair, scored a showstopping try - his first for England at Twickenham - shortly after coming on, and got the crowd up on its feet as he injected energy into the game.
Still just 20, Pollock is a rugby rock star, a proper livewire player - the ball and the spotlight follows him around. And he loves it.
Head coach Borthwick said: “Everyone is excited when Henry Pollock gets on the pitch and what he brings. He is probably the most excited person of all, with the way he is and the energy he brings.
