SOAP star Shayne Ward celebrated his 40th birthday on Wednesday - with chicken nuggets and baked beans.
But the former Coronation Street favourite did not let the landmark anniversary get in the way of training for last night's Strictly.
The singer, who won The X Factor in 2005, danced an American smooth to the Sam Smith track Get Here with his professional partner Nancy Xu. And while he didn't secure a perfect score to match his age, he did get 31 points.
He had kept his birthday celebrations low key to concentrate on rehearsals having been in the dance-off last week.
