Boris hits back at '£200m incoherent Covid-19 inquiry'

BORIS Johnson has launched a scathing attack on the Covid inquiry which portrayed his government as chaotic and claimed that a failure to act early enough may have cost 23,000 lives.

The former Prime Minister has denounced the report as "muddled" and said Baroness Heather Hallett's inquiry is "hopelessly incoherent".
The investigation into the pandemic described a "toxic and chaotic" culture in Downing Street and accused the then Tory leader of being too optimistic in early 2020.
Mr Johnson said: "On Covid there are two big questions: Where did the virus come from, and were the lockdowns worth the terrible price we paid? Baroness Hallett's hopelessly incoherent £200million inquiry failed to answer either."
