You know Dumyat (the Fort of the Maeatae), the tribe that resisted Rome around 210.

These Iron Age Wallaces are said to have killed 50,000 Roman Legionaries and Rome's response was to order the only recorded genocide in Scottish history.

We're not exactly sure if it happened.
